It’s that time of year, and once again, the Chapter will hold its annual Army/Navy game viewing party at the R Bar and Grill, 70 Pennington Dr, Bluffton . The game starts at 3:00 PM.
If you have not been there, the location is just off US 278 at Sheridan Park Circle. When you exit 278, take a left behind the Sonic Drive-in, go to the dead end, and turn right, and the R Bar & Grill is the first building on the left. Food and beverages will be ordered individually off the menu. Annual dues for 2022 may be paid at the event.
The game will be played for the fifth time in New Jersey, but it will be the first time playing at MetLife Stadium, as the previous four games were held at Giants Stadium. In an interesting twist, Navy has only played one game in the MetLife Stadium, and that was a 35-17 victory over Notre Dame in 2010! Come and help cheer the Midshipmen on to victory in the game that counts for the season.
Please advise Chapter Secretary Doug Ogden of your plans, and if you will be attending, how many will be in your party. Also, please advise of any special needs or requirements. The deadline for responses is Tuesday, 7 December 2021. Hope to see as many of you as possible. BEAT ARMY!
